Mittens for nice day

I made this mittens for to say thank you to someone who helping me, they are made from nice soft Andes by Debbie Bliss (alpaka and silk)
Very easy – cast on 52 sts – 1k, 1p – 15 rows
Knit next knit next 22 rounds.
PLACE THUMB: After that knit 2 sts on first needle (right mittens), take waste yarn knit 9 sts, slip (return) these 9 stitches on your left needle and knit them again with your orginal yarn. For left mitten, k15 sts, take waste yarn, knit 9 sts, return on left needle and knit with your original yarn. After that continue to knit, until mittens are 4cm/1,5in shorter than you needed.
TO FINISH: 1st needle – k1, sl 1, k1, psso, k20, k2tog, k1, 2nd needle – k1, sl1, k1, psso, 10, 3rd needle – k10, k2tog, k1, continue till you have on bouth side 6 sts remain> Joinded together with kitchener sts.
THUMB: pick up 9 st on top and 9 sts on bottom line, (remove waste yarn) plus one sts on each side – 20 sts together, knit until thumb is 1.5cm/0,5in shorter, than you need – after that 1st. needle k1, sl1, k1, psso, k4, k2tog, k1, 2nd needle k1, sl1, k1, psso, k2, 3rd needle k2tog, k1, continue till you have 2sts on each needle, finish them with kitchener sts.
